Introducing ORION
Modeled after the Orion space craft, currently used on NASA’s Artemis missions, this new capsule has a sleek profile that feels great when playing. The spike’s handle features a hexagonal pattern that gives a perfect grip, without feeling “pinchy”.
The red base of the capsule is inspired by the heatshield that protects the astronauts as they re-enter Earth’s atmosphere. It’s been printed using a UV reactive filament that glows under a black light or our sun!
Because this capsule was printed in ABS, the surface has been smoothed over through a process called “Vapor Smoothing”. This creates a clean and polished look that gives this capirucho a smooth and professionally done feel. Say goodbye to layer lines!
The included string can be played at two lengths. The longer length gives a more impactful and satisfying spike. Throw a loop in the string and play with a more consistent and more traditional capirucho feel.
The capsules are all 3d printed using PLA+ at 100% infill.
