Because of the weight and forces exerted on the Sweets Kaiju during play the original bead can fail or come off and become lost. Our Kendama Cowboy Kaiju replacement bead set includes one stainless bead with one Nylon washer.
The bead has less friction when moving against the washer than it does against the wood. The washer also can compensate for an oversized hole in the tama, covering the hole and making a better connection with the bead.
To install: thread the washer on first so that it will be in contact with the wood inside the tama. Then thread on the bead. Finally tie a double quick release overhand knot. See video below.
