M. NARASADA has been making knives in Nagano for nearly 20 years. Early on he was interested in knives and was trained by a senior bladesmith before striking out on his own. His goal is to create easy to use knives that you always want to keep near you. He has appeared in various knife magazines and periodicals. His works have won awards including the Fujimoto Memorial Award and Corporate Subcommittee Award from the Japan Knife Guild.
His wife helps with the creation of knife sheaths and creates handmade goods like the Tatami-beri Coin Purse found on this site.
